The friendly Surrey club is really pulling out all the stops to celebrate Women & Girls’ Golf Week.

Many of us will have 'that friend' who we’re always trying to persuade to have a go at playing golf.

Well, those of you in the Surrey area are in luck, as Farleigh Golf Club is running loads of cool initiatives and offers for Women & Girls’ Golf Week 2020.

Catering for everyone from total beginners to experienced club golfers, they’ve come up with some great ways of enticing as many women and girls into the game as possible during this special week.

From August 17 to 23 you can introduce your non-golfing friends to this wonderful game through a series of roll-up coaching sessions.

And the best bit is that they are absolutely FREE to attend.

All you need to do is turn up at either 11am or 4pm on Tuesday August 18 to enjoy an hour session, or at 4pm on Sunday August 23 for an hour and a half.

Ran by one of the club’s PGA pros, they’ll provide all the clubs you need, too.

But they're not just for beginners either.

The sessions are open to all women and girls (including all ages and all abilities); basically anyone who wants to have a go at hitting a few balls and have some fun.

We don’t know about you but we’re never ones to say no to free a golf lesson...

Other events throughout the week include a Ladies Stableford Competition on Thursday August 20 that’s free for members AND a guest each, plus a 25 percent discount on all ladies’ products in the pro shop (available all day, all week).

On top of that, the first four women to join as members in WAG Week get a free pair of adidas golf shoes, while each lady member gets one complimentary guest pass to use from Monday to Friday, too.

We have to say that we’re liking the frequency of the word ‘free’ in all of these offers very much indeed...
