PGA Catalunya Resort Supplies Covid-19

PGA Catalunya Resort, near Girona, has donated 500kg of essential food items to FESBAL, the Spanish Federation of Food Banks, to help some of the country’s most vulnerable people through COVID-19.

The European Tour Destination has worked closely with FESBAL’s Girona-based foundation, Banc Dels Aliments, giving supplies, including fruit and vegetables, bread, pasta and flour, as well as milk, cheese, eggs and cereals to help tackle the impact of Coronavirus in the community.

Additional non-perishable items, such as coffee, biscuits, chocolate and snacks have also been donated, as more people turn to food banks for help during the pandemic.

With people still requiring emergency provisions and food banks facing unprecedented challenges in the wake of the outbreak, PGA Catalunya Resort will continue to contribute as much as possible to help local communities in these extraordinary times.
