Lingdale Golf Club, in Leicestershire, is marking the club’s 50th anniversary with a number of back-in-time events.
The celebrations kicked off last month with a themed captain's drive-in, which saw Club Captain Loyala Overlunde, Ladies Captain Di Jaggard and Seniors Captain David Trower decked out in some fetching 1967-themed attire.
The event proved a roaring success, with nearly £300.00 for local charities; Rainbows and LOROS.
The celebrations will continue throughout the year with events including a ‘back in time’ day, where original members and past captains have been invited back to play the course as it was first designed 50 years ago.
