Fourteen-year-old Libby Kilbride fired a gross 68 to shave two shots off the long-standing course record at Wollaton Park.
Libby was playing in the Nottinghamshire Ladies County Championship, and reduced her handicap from 4 to 3, as well as gaining a place in the County team.
Caroline Hart, Lady Captain of Wollaton Park, presented Libby with a framed scorecard as a memento of the day and will be arranging for another to be put in position in the clubhouse to commemorate the new record.
