Lucy Walton, from The Worcestershire, lifted the third annual Ludlow Ladies Scratch Bowl this weekend, in only her second round following a six-month lay-off with injury.

The two-handicapper made light work of winding conditions with a round of 71, which put her four shots ahead of Shropshire golfer Sophie Johnson from Telford who fired a gross 75. Bethany Round from Enville was third after a round of 77.

Winner of the Best Nett prize was awarded to Georgia Pritchard from Beau Desert with an excellent nett 72 playing off 6, with 9 handicapper Hannah Golding of Brocton Hall in second place with a nett 74.
