Get Golfing are running six Charity Pro-Am events this year and are looking for female professional golfers to take part in their events.

Get Golfing is proud to announce the launch of six Charity Pro-Am events in 2022. Not only will they be supporting local charities, but they will also be supporting women’s golf, as all the professionals playing in the Pro-Am will be female professional golfers.

These Charity Pro-Am’s will run across six of the Get Golfing clubs starting at the stunning Hampton Court Palace Golf Club on Monday, May 9 and finishing with a grand finale at Redlibbets Golf Club on Monday, October 3.

Each event will have prize money for the professional golfers of £3,500 per event, with an Order of Merit pot of £5,000, while Singha, The Original Thai Beer, will be the title sponsor.

This is an integral part of Get Golfing’s initiative to encourage more women and girls to take up the game of golf.

Ed Richardson, CEO of Get Golfing explains:

“It is time to change the perception of golf, we need to encourage more diversity to the game. I hope that more golf operators out there will follow suit and change the way that traditional golf is run.”

The money raised from each event will be added to one big pot, which will be split equally between the Captain’s chosen charity for each site.

The events are open to male, female or mixed teams, with the chance to play with a female professional golfer.
