North Lincolnshire has seen a wave of new girl golfers following the success of an innovative partnership between the Golf Foundation, Elsham Golf Club and three local secondary schools.
North Lincolnshire has seen a host of girls getting into golf following the success of an innovative partnership between the Golf Foundation, Elsham Golf Club and three local secondary schools.
Through the innovative project, 300 girls have been introduced to golf, with 64 having now signed up to the afterschool sessions.
On Monday 17 July, Elsham GC will be delivering a new event, the 'Elsham Girls Open', with 50 girls currently set to attend. The fun event will take place on the main course of the golf club, with lots of prizes and giveaways to be given away.
