Burstead Golf Club has become the latest golf club to raise much-needed funds in support of Breast Cancer Care. The Essex club hosted their annual Pink Day, organised to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, last week, raising a fantastic £2,000 for the charity.
Burstead Golf Club has become the latest golf club to raise much-needed funds in support of Breast Cancer Care. The Essex club hosted their annual Pink Day, organised to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, last week, raising a fantastic £2,000 for the charity.
It's the fourth time that organiser Lynne Southgate has staged the event, which has grown from 36 participants in its inaugural year to 116 in 2016. The ladies enjoyed eighteen holes, before tucking into egg and chips, followed by a successful cake sale, baked by the club members, and a raffle.
