Bude and North Cornwall made the most of the sunshine at the Montecastillo Golf Resort, in Spain, last month to claim the Annodata UK Golf Club Classic title.
Taking their place in the Grand Final after making it through county and regional matches, the Cornish team were joined in Spain by three other national qualifiers, Cranleigh, Kibworth & Bolton Old Links.
Having made it through their semi-final match-up against Cranleigh Golf & CC, Bude & North Cornwall would face Bolton Old Links in the Grand Final, after the Lancashire side secured a narrow victory against Kibworth in the other semi-final.
With honours shared in the Grand Final after four matches, it was left to Kay Dinsdale(Bude) & Liz Taylor(Bolton) to fight it out for the championship.
It would come down to the very final putt, with Kay stroking home a five-footer to ensure her team would head home National Club Champions.
