Bramhall Golf Club Celebrates Bronte Law

Bronte Law joined Bramhall Golf Club in Wilmslow, Cheshire in 2004 at just 9-years-old. After already receiving honorary membership at the club, Bramhall further celebrated her success at a recent event, unveiling a wall showing all of her achievements and most momentous wins.

Bronte’s notable achievements in her amateur career include her 2009 titles of Northern Counties Ladies Champion, U18 English Women’s Open Champion and Cheshire County Junior Champion before representing Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2012. After winning a scholarship to the University of Los Angeles in 2014, Bronte’s success continued year on year before she turned professional in 2016.

Bronte’s most recent professional career highlights from last year include tying 1st at the LPGA Mediheal Championship, receiving her first LPGA win at the Pure Silk Championship and representing Great Britain & Ireland in the victorious Solheim Cup.

At the event, Bronte gave a speech to the members, her family and her coach Richard Green, who also coaches Bel Wardle, thanking them for their support. She described her Solheim Cup experience as ‘the best ever’ and explained her joy when members of the club come and watch her play. Bronte continues to be supportive of Bramhall and when she had to come home from tour recently with a virus she still found time to come and do the end of season trophy presentations.

The event was concluded with members and juniors getting their photo taken with Bronte, drawing lottery numbers and then watching Bronte’s putt on the 17th at the Solheim Cup on TV.
