Dirleton Castle Ladies Sime Salver

Dirleton Castle Ladies Golf Club navigated the links of Gullane in a triumphant win in this year's Sime Salver, a competition that has been running for almost 30 years.

The Sime Salver, now in its 28th year, is an inter-club competition held in East Lothian for women golfers with handicaps between 10 and 20. Each year, clubs take it in turn to host the event, and this year was the turn of Gullane.

In a foursome strokeplay over the challenging links of Gullane, Dirleton Castle Ladies came out on top with a net score of 150, eight shots clear of Kilspindie. This is the second year that Kilspindie have been beaten to the trophy and finished as the runners-up.
