It was a brisk morning for the start of the Miele All Ireland Fourball Final in Naas Golf Club. The course presented itself in superb condition as Cahir Park and Tuam went head to head for the Miele All Ireland Fourball title.

Tuam stormed ahead in the top match of the Miele All Ireland Fourball Final and played the better game to overcome Cahir Park in an easy victory on the 12th hole. Tuam had youth on their side in that match with 15 year old Lorna Mullally showcasing her skills alongside partner Martina Casserly. The remaining matches were a close affair with both teams playing their best, knowing the All Ireland title was in sight.

Cahir Park proved to be the stronger of the two teams in the second match, securing a win on the 15th hole. The two Keatings from Cahir Park also proved to be an asset for the side as they clinched a 3&1 victory. The final match drew a large crowd of followers as they played the final hole all square. Tuam edged the win 1up, resulting in a tie of holes won between the two teams. The lowest pairing from each team played again in a hole by hole playoff and Cahir Park took advantage of this as they won on the 20th hole.
