The ANNIKA Academy – Hall-of-Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam’s boutique golf instruction and fitness school – has released its 2014 programme. Share Annika’s passion for golf, fitness and nutrition.
Its core, multi-day platforms – the Player’s, Championship, Platinum, Major and Soren-Slam – return, as well as summer junior golf camp sessions and Destination Golf Experiences at some of the world’s most iconic courses.
Individual lessons with the Academy’s acclaimed instructors are also available and a great way to reinvigorate one’s passion for golf. Another Academy offering key to maximizing performance is customized club fitting with the Callaway Performance Analysis System (CPAS).
“It’s time to get back into the game in 2014,” says Annika, the only woman to shoot 59 in a professional golf tournament. “Each member of our Academy team is a golf swing expert and committed to ensuring guests of all ages and abilities improve their technique in a supportive and fun environment.”
The core programmes are tailored to suit a range of skill levels and budgets. They are complemented by the 'New Golfer Experience' which is ideal for introducing novices to the game. For those visiting from out-of-town, onsite accommodations are available at Reunion Resort.
Unique to the golf instruction marketplace, the aforementioned Major and Soren-Slam experiences feature opportunities to receive tips directly from Annika, an eight-time Rolex Player of the Year award winner.
Similarly, intermediate and advanced junior golfers can interact with and learn personally from Annika at the July 7-11 summer camp session. Three other summer golf camps are also scheduled (June 16-20, June 23-27 and July 28 – August 1) and will be staffed by Annika’s hand-picked instruction team. New for this year, overnight accommodations may be arranged for campers ages 14 and older.

The Academy will also go on the road for a fifth-straight year to Old Greenwood Golf Course in Truckee, Calif. for the Lake Tahoe Destination Golf Experience, July 13-16. Highlights of this increasingly popular event include three days of golf and fitness instruction, a private dinner with Annika and the ANNIKA Academy team, video swing analysis, 27 holes of golf and more.
