Trump Turnberry Hosts Open Events This Summer

Trump Turnberry is offering golfers the opportunity to compete on one of the UK’s most iconic links with four competitive open events, each to be hosted on the resort’s King Robert the Bruce course.

The season will tee off on Friday 31st May with the King Robert the Bruce Open welcoming amateur golfers from across Scotland and the UK to take part in a single round of Individual Scratch and Handicap format play across the beautiful 18-hole course. Priced at £50 per person, the event includes prizes of overnight stays and golf rounds at Turnberry and Aberdeen.

Later in the summer, Trump Turnberry will also host a Seniors Open on the Friday 25th July and a Ladies Open on the Tuesday 22nd August, both to be played on the award winning King Robert the Bruce course in a team Stableford stroke play format.

Both are priced at £199 for a team of four, including a tea, coffee and bacon roll on arrival. Top prizes are on offer at both competitions from four balls to luxurious hotel stays.

In September, players can take on the tips of King Robert the Bruce for only £55 per player. Held on Friday 20th September, Turnberry from the Tips is bound to challenge golfers of all levels on the rewarding course of King Robert the Bruce.

With tea, coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, players get the chance to win overnights stays and golf rounds, with additional prizes for nearest to the pin and longest drive.

Ricky Hall, Director of Golf, says: “We take great pride in Trump Turnberry’s position at the very peak of the world of golf and by hosting these upcoming events, we’re excited to see some of the UK’s finest in upcoming talent set foot on one of our world famous courses."

“Players of all skill levels are invited to take part in each competition across the season to fully experience all of the care and attention that we’ve put into every fairway, rough and green at our resort.”

Officially opened at the legendary resort in 2017, the King Robert the Bruce course has already proven popular for golfers at all skill levels, with its spectacular views of the Ayrshire coastline and challenging, yet rewarding course design.
