The Youngest Girl Ever To Get A Hole In One?

Eight year-old Maya Cheesman is a keen golfer and junior member at Alresford Golf Course. She practices most days and is determined to become a PGA professional golfer.

She played her first major completion for her school, St Swithuns last week and was placed 1st under 10 girl in the IAPS National Golf Championships.

Her second ever competition was on the European Junior Golf Tour at Nailcote Hall and during her practice round she hit a hole in one on the 6th hole, an average player has a 12000 to 1 chance of doing this!

Maya was awarded a lovely Hole in One trophy at the presentation by tour organiser and PGA professional Roger Shutt after the competition.

Is Maya the youngest girl in the UK to achieve a hole in one? Let us know! Email [email protected].
