Gemma Batty of Powfoot GC, was the clear-cut individual winners at the last Scottish students golf tournament of the year, at Fairmont St Andrews.

British women's student champion Gemma Batty, a member of Powfoot GC, won the women's title with a level par total of 222 (76-71-75). She finished seven shots clear of two Stirling team-mates: Muckhart GC member Jen Saxton, whose 69 on Saturday afternoon was the low round of the competition, and Ireland's Sinead Sexton from Lahinch.

Stirling (Batty, Sexton, Saxton) won the women's team event by 20 strokes with a seven-under-par total. St Andrews were runners-up.
