The Czech Republic’s Olivia Prokopova has won the World Crazy Golf Championships, and £1000 prize money, for the second time at Hastings Adventure Golf.

The Czech Republic’s Olivia Prokopova has won the World Crazy Golf Championships for the second time at Hastings Adventure Golf.

Olivia took the world title and £1000 prize money in a two-day mini golf marathon which saw complete novices pit their skills against seasoned minigolf professionals. Her score was 235, 17 under par.

The 22 year old last won this tournament in 2013, and said she was delighted to win the title in Hastingsagain.

In total, 56 serious crazy golfers competed in the international tournament, including seven women. Jessica Pilgrim was the youngest female participant, at just 12 years old.

Jessica Pilgrim won the Gommery trophy, presented by professional mini golfer Dave Gomm, for achieving the most hole in ones for any player outside of the top 18.

The novice title and £500 went to Jimmy Exall from Tunbridge Wells.

“A massive congratulations to Olivia, and a huge well done to everyone for taking part and making this a thoroughly enjoyable event.”

This tournament has been held at Hastings Adventure Golf since 2003.
