Women's World Number One Amateur Lottie Woad has partnered with FootJoy for the 2025 season

Lottie Woad, the current Augusta National Women’s Amateur champion, Smyth Salver winner and member of the victorious 2024 Curtis Cup team, has officially partnered with FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf.

Currently leading the way in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, the Englishwoman will wear FootJoy
shoes, gloves and apparel throughout the 2025 season, outside of collegiate events.

“I wanted to partner with FootJoy because it is a brand I know and trust,” said Woad.

“I have played in FJ for years through England Golf and other opportunities, so it’s equipment I am very
confident in.

“Footwear is especially important to me because I spend so much time in golf shoes that they need to
be comfortable but above all, perform well.”

Woad’s impressive year improved even further in August last year after she became the first ever
English golfer to win the Mark H. McCormack Medal, whilst also earning her first ever top 10 finish in
a major championship at the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews.

The 20-year-old recently went through an extensive shoe fitting and testing process with the FootJoy
team at the Titleist Performance Centre at Woburn. During the session she was able to identify which
FJ footwear model was best suited to her game.

“I had my first proper shoe fitting a couple of weeks ago and led to me changing my shoe size from a
UK6M to a UK5M. Like when you go and get fitted for golf clubs, I think it is just as important for golfers
to go and get fitted for golf shoes if you want maximise performance on the course.

“It was a great experience to try on all the different models within the FootJoy range but also being
able to hit shots in them has given me the confidence going forward that I am wearing the correct golf
shoes.

“The style that performed the best for me were the Premiere Series. The blucher lacing gave me more
space in the upper part of the shoe, providing comfort and stability when rotating through to my left
side, so I am able generate that power.”

The Englishwoman joins an elite roster of Tour professionals and elite amateurs in Team FJ, including
the likes of Justin Thomas, Lilia Vu, Billy Horschel and many more who all continue to place their trust
in FootJoy when playing at the game’s elite level.

Across the 2023/24 season on the DP World and Ladies European Tours there were a combined 29
victories for FootJoy shoe wearers, with 58% of fields choosing FJ – more than all other shoe brands
combined.
