A popular event which has been running since the 1980’s encourages girl golfers of all handicaps to enter. Girls with handicaps of 37-54 or no handicap are invited to enter the 9 hole competition played off the blue tees and accompanied by a marker.
Event Organiser Jo Slade said “We are very much looking forward to welcoming the girls to Droitwich for this fabulous Open. It’s wonderful to see the girls returning year after year with improved games and lower handicaps.”
“It’s a great start to the season and a chance to get on the leader board for the Telegraph Junior Golf Championship.”
“We were thrilled to see our 2017 nett winner Sophie Johnson lift the Telegraph Trophy in Portugal in 2018.”
