Ladies European Tour star Carly Booth took time out of her schedule this week to see some of the best young golfers in Wales compete at Ryder Cup venue, Celtic Manor.
The Scottish golfer was at the finals of the Wales Mini Masters - which to capped off a record-breaking year for the event.
The competition is for junior golfers in Wales who are not members of clubs or have recently become members of clubs, with a handicap higher than 28. More than 300 players from more than 50 clubs around Wales took part in the competition this year, with the final held in unusually good weather at Celtic Manor.
There was a triple celebration for Gwent club, Bryn Meadows, as Lacey Williams won the Girls 12 and over, while clubmate Cameron Hughes won the Boys 8-9 category. The Girls 10-11 winner was Lowri Davies from Mountain Ash, but she has regular lessons at Bryn Meadows.
The Wales Mini Masters is supported by Wales Golf, Volvik and The Celtic Manor Resort as part of the continued legacy of the Ryder Cup in Wales.
Volvik Challenge Champion, Isaiah Flewitt, Hawarden commented, "we sometimes get a bit of rain for the finals, so to play in such good weather made a nice change".
"Congratulations to all the winners, but this is also an event to celebrate everyone who takes part".
