Third year UCLA student Bronte Law from Cheshire has won the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Condoleezza Rice for the second year in a row, shooting a 3-under 68 on Tuesday to finish at -8 (67-70-68-205) for the tournament.
Law's performance helped UCLA achieve a thrid place finish overall and gives the Bruins three straight individual titles at the Stanford Intercollegiate (Alison Lee, 2013).
It is the fourth individual title on the US women's college circuit for GB and Ireland international player Law, who also won the 2013 Pac-12 Preview and the 2015 Regional Challenge, and the 34th during head coach Carrie Forsyth's tenure.
Law had six birdies in her final round (#2, #5, #6, #9, #16, #17), with bogeys on the seventh, 11th and 15th. She led the field with 16 birdies and was a tournament-best 5-under on the par 4's.
Next up for the Bruins is a trip to Kohala, Hawai'i for the Pac-12 Preview at Nanea Golf Course (Nov. 2-3).
