Leicestershire county player Bethany Acey has earned her first win of the US college season.
In her second year as a golf scholar at Murray State College, the Hinckley Golf Club member fired rounds of 70, 72 (2-under gross) to win the Southwestern Christian Invite by nine shots. The Murray State College Women’s Golf team, who compete in NJCAA Division 2, shot a 637 (319-318) and tied for first, but received second overall after a scorecard playoff.
