BJGT Woodhall Spa Finale

The British Junior Golf Tour season came to an end last month, culminating in the Jakarta World Qualifier at Woodhall Spa - and what a season finale it was at the home of England Golf.

The Finale at Woodhall Spa saw glorious autumn sunshine, 36 holes, two fantastic tests of golf and the quality of golf certainly matched.

Julia Kerrigan who plays off 5 earned her place in the age 15-17 category with a pair of 79s, which was good enough for a two-shot victory over Caitlin Thomas.

Joining Julia in Jakarta in May 2019 is 6-handicapper Leah Ribano who edged out Jessica Brown in the age 13-14 category with the best 36-hole gross score, although in the net division Jessica scored an impressive 61 in the first round, playing off 20.

Meanwhile, the 11-12s provided a scintillating competition in the net division before Sunny Wang (13 hcp) won on countback from Jake Valentine (13 hcp), and in the 9-10 age group, Lila-Belle Nacca led the field in the first round, with 90, while Luca Randall won the title for the overall winner, gross and net.
