You will notice that I am holding the golf club the wrong way round (above) and it is being swung as fast as I can to create a ‘WHOOSH’ sound at impact. The louder the sound, the faster the club is being swung.
You have to create an L SHAPE angle during your downswing, known as LAG; this is storing the power until impact. Women golfers make a common mistake and that is to release this angle too early; no WHOOSH SOUND = NO POWER. This drill also helps you to get to your full follow through position.
