Golfers wear a patch in their glove on the heel of their palm. This is due to holding it too much in that palm and not low enough down in the fingers.

An incorrect grip locks your wrists and you miss out on all that swishy power!

Check your grip by hanging your arms down and forming gentle fists with your hands. The club should fit into the fingers of those fists. Now you’ve freed your wrists up, get set for a surge in your clubhead speed. Your pitch and bunker shots will also benefit. If your wrists are working properly then you will not need as much backswing.
