Golf Instruction

A tip for creating a good rhythm and an increase in clubhead speed is to turn the driver upside down and hold it near the head.

Swing a few times and listen for the swish at impact. This will give you a sensation for the delivery of the end of the club to the ball, thus helping timing.

Then turn the club the right way up, have a few practice swings and feel the weight of the clubhead before trying your swing with a ball on the tee.

Concentrate on trying to keep the tee peg in the ground after impact as this will help you to sweep the ball off the tee.
