Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors.
The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark.
Teignmouth was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National. It's a tricky course with narrow fairways which are close to other holes. You feel on top of the world when you are playing and need to be conscious of the wind. Beautiful place, you can sit and relax in the stunning restaurant with panoramic views of the Teign estuary.
