Welcome to the beta version of the new Women & Golf website. Our web monkeys are still hard at work and welcome your feedback.
Enjoy delightful Golf in Cumbria at the Dunnerholme Golf Club, a unique links course on the Furness peninsular in North West England — with stunning views over the sea and Lake District.
Founded in 1905, the club is situated on the shores of the Duddon Estuary, north of the village of Askam-in-Furness — right on the southern edge of the beautiful Lake District national park.
The ten hole golf course is unique in Cumbria and eighteen tees mean the holes that are repeated still offer a different perspective the second time round.
The club gets its name from the Dunnerholme Rock, a limestone outcrop that projects in to the Estuary — which also forms a challenging part of the course (complete with a spectacular Panoramic vista from the top).
Over the years, the club has grown and invested in its unique setting, and we were delighted be one of four finalists for England Golf Club of the Year in 2021.
Visit Dunnerholme to enjoy links golf in a stunning setting – or catch up on the latest news from the club!
