Scottish golf clothing brand Glenmuir is giving us the chance to quiz some of the most iconic sporting celebrities from the comfort of our own homes.
The live Q&A sessions are being streamed through the brand’s Instagram page @glenmuir1891 every Thursday at 6pm.
Hosted by members of the Glenmuir team up in Lanark, Scotland, the #PeopleOfGlenmuir series has so far featured golf influencer Bella Angel, joint Managing Director of Gleneagles Conor O’Leary, European Senior Tour player Andrew Murray and much-loved presenter and sports personality Clare Balding OBE.
The best bit is that you can still watch all these interviews back via Glenmuir’s IGTV channel (found through the Instagram page), so you don’t you need to worry that you’ve missed out.
Meanwhile, this Thursday (July 30) it’s the turn of legendary European Tour player and World Golf Hall of Fame member Ian Woosnam, and other celebrities with a passion for the game of golf are set to appear over the coming weeks, too.
Mikhel Ruia, Managing Director of Glenmuir, said:
“During these difficult and uncertain times it is important we find innovative ways of communicating, engaging with, and building communities amongst our customers and Glenmuir team in Lanark. This is the essence of our #PeopleOfGlenmuir series. Golf is about people from all backgrounds coming together for the love of the game and these Q&A sessions try to capture this spirit.”
We think it’s a brilliant idea and a great way of helping us to keep our spirits up and stay entertained at home whilst we can’t get out and about quite as much as we would normally like.
We’ll definitely be ready and sitting comfortably with a brew on Thursday at 6pm.
Plus, with the Rose Ladies Series and the #PeopleOfGlenmuir Q&As both happening on the same day, Thursday really is the new Friday this summer.
