Hot off the catwalk! Abacus has unveiled the stylish high performance outfits Carin Koch’s European Team will wear during The 2015 Solheim Cup at St. Leon Rot Golf Club in Germany, September 18-20.

The outfits have been carefully designed to ensure the European Team not only look their best but also enable them to perform in the intense environment of the most prestigious event in female golf. The fabrics used within the garments are performance-based and crafted to be breathable, lightweight and warm, guaranteeing players’ comfort on the course and readiness for any weather conditions.

With Europe aiming for a historic third consecutive victory in the competition, European Team Captain Carin Koch, commented:

“One of the most important elements of being captain at The Solheim Cup is to ensure the players feel as comfortable as possible on the course so they can just concentrate on their game. The right clothing definitely plays a critical role in reducing any on-course distractions, which is why it is great to have abacus on board in 2015 as the company not only continues to capture the spirit of the European Team, but also fully understands players’ specific apparel requirements.

“I know from my own experience, as well as talking to members of previous Solheim Cup Teams, that the clothing has been fantastic over the past four events and I am sure it will be exceptional once again this year.”

A number of abacus garments including; rain jackets, windwear and moisture wicking Drycool polo shirts embossed with The Solheim Cup logo are available to purchase from the Official Solheim Cup online store:

Outfits will also be on sale at the Merchandise Shop at St. Leon-Rot Golf Club during the event.
