Reader Review: ProQuip Luna Quilt Gilet
My first impressions were that it looked very comfortable and ideal for golf and a nice colour. I have played several times in it during the autumn but not sure if it would be quite warm enough during very cold weather.
The stretch ribbing under the arm allows you lots of mobility through your swing. It also has back and shoulder panels, giving you even more stretch, which is very important when playing golf. You don’t want to be too restricted and this gilet does not do that.
I chose a medium and it fitted well. I usually wear a 12-14 but there are six sizes available. The gilet has a high collar and the bottom has a draw cord so you can have a closer fit, if required.
Two deep pockets with zippers and plenty of stylish details. It’s also quite long, good for keeping your back warm. It’s machine washable and easily dries.
I think this gilet would be ideal for the spring and autumn, as it has plenty of room under the arm to allow you to put a jumper underneath.
Would I recommend it? Yes! Overall it was very practical and comfortable and I hope to be wearing it for many years to come.
