Look out for the new Daily Sports SS14 collection with colours such as limey, citrus, clementine, raspberry and mojito. Mix with your staple colours and enjoy a cocktail of fashion in the sunshine.

With recent subtle hints of what great weather is to come this summer, it finally feels time to start considering making the first spring/summer wardrobe purchases!

Scientists say there is a 75 per cent chance of 2014 being the hottest summer on record, so with that in mind it’s time to start planning how many new outfits we can showcase on the course this summer!

Enjoy key colours such as limey, citrus, clementine, raspberry and mojito being a big focus. These fashion colours are great to mix in with your staple colours such as white, sand and navy, but enough of a statement for you to stand out on the golf course.

Brightly coloured patterned belts, gloves and visors are all a great way of bringing in some lovely detail to your outfit if you prefer to wear a more muted ensemble. Spots, stripes, checks and Paisley prints are all must haves this season.

As this summer is set to have an exotic feel, make sure you keep an eye out for technical fabrics such as Quick Dry and UV protected materials to keep you safe and comfortable. The Quick Dry fabric feels cool and dry when wearing meaning you will feel comfortable for all 18 holes. UV protected items are a must in the sunshine, they can have a 40+ UV protection factor so keep an eye out for these.

Why not get style savvy and look for pieces that incorporate multiple colours, meaning you can build several outfits around this one piece but for less! Take the Daily Sports ‘Reese’ skort (shown below) it features at least eight different colours from their new current collection.

Spring Summer 2014 is set to be a very exciting season for ladies golf apparel, but make sure you act fast as we are anticipating styles to fly out of the shops with this great summer ahead of us!
