The humble white polo shirt, whether sleeved or sleeveless, is likely to be a staple in most golfers wardrobes, quite simply because it is reliable and you can match with anything.
With that in mind, we thought that we would put some golf outfit ideas together using a PUMA Golf white polo shirt. Whether you're looking to keep it simple, add a bit of colour or try something new, hopefully we have a golf outfit solution to suit you.
Styling your white polo shirt using one brand
Let's start with a full outfit just from PUMA Golf. Some golfers are keen to stick to a brand that they know is reliable or that they have an affiliation for. The good thing about sticking to one brand is that the items are already likely to be able to be mixed together and if you like to stick to neutrals then you don't get caught out trying to pick two navys, for example, that are the same.

We've chosen a really simple look with PUMA Golf high rise capris but you could easily switch out for trousers, shorts or a skort (also all available in navy). Wearing a white polo shirt with a splash of colour
You can amplify a simple white polo shirt by adding some colour to your bottom half. Obviously the choice is yours but here we have picked a pair of PURE Golf bermuda shorts, with lots of other colours available you can pick one to suit you. We've teamed it with a simple white belt with star detail from Swing Out Siser and for a chillier summer morning a quilted gilet from Green Lamb. We've finished the look with some summer style golf pumps from Duca del Cosma.

A simple but effective look. The one thing we have learnt this year through working with GolfGarb is that you should not be scared of embracing bright colours. Go BOLD or go home! Where your white polo shirt acts as a base
There's adding a splash of colour and then there is fully embracing it. With this look, the white polo shirt is almost taking a back seat. We've chosen purple as our base colour to build a bold and beautiful outfit to wear on the golf course.

We love the selection of skorts available from PURE Golf in a range of colours, these are ideal for women golfers who would rather shy away from printed bottoms. The Original Penguin floral sweater is so eye catching, we couldn't not include it in this feature. It's also a sweater that you would definitely wear off the golf course too. I am a big fan of bright framed sunglasses, so thought I would share one from my favourite brands Goodr, they have a pair to suit every outfit! Finally, we continue the purple theme into the shoes and these from G/FORE are stunning and stylish - need we say more?
When you could be shouting FORE or set point!
There is definitely some crossover nowadays between sports and although all of this outfit is from brands' golf collections, you definitely wouldn't look out of place if you were headed to the tennis court. Make it all white and we'd see you on centre court at Wimbledon!
Using navy with white is a classic combination, just like black. The fun pleated skirt from J. Lindeberg offers an accentuated flare as you drive through the ball, whilst the oversized visor offers maximum face protection on sunny days. If cooler, you can add a preppy Rohnisch vest and finish off the outfit with a pair of iconic Stan Smith golf shoes, which work well on or off the golf course.
