A first look at the Stromberg AW21 Women's golf clothing range, as they launch their first women and junior collections.
When we saw that Stromberg had released its first women’s golf clothing range, we were keen to get more information. A well-established golf brand but until this year had only produced golf clothes for men.
American Golf purchased UK golf apparel brand Stromberg back in September 2019 and they have made big strides to make sure that they are providing high quality, affordable golf apparel to everyone.
We’d have to agree that they have started well with the launch of the Stromberg AW21 range. You can be kitted out from top to toe as the range includes an array of woolly hats, ranging from insulated beanies to stylishly designed bobble quilted hats. A variety of jackets which either contain a hooded, sleeveless or even fully waterproof design. You can also choose from classic or vibrant designs when it comes to polo shirts. Plus, practical waterproof trousers and leggings and their own golf shoes to complete the look.

Xena Mid-layer - £49.99
This attractive layer has a beautiful all-over print and solid colour to give you the confidence to perform during your golf game. It has a stretch construction for freedom of movement and has a front zip opening for adjustability. The material is moisture-wicking and offers an outstanding UPF 50 protection rating to keep you safe from harmful rays.

Ciganda Waterproof Jacket - £79.99
Protect yourself better in the rain with this beautiful waterproof jacket from Stromberg. Constructed with waterproof and breathable fabric to give you a better performance in the rain, it also has a technical stretch to allow you to move freely and has taped seams and water-resistant zips to prevent the intake of moisture. The design itself features a full-zip opening, and waist pockets, with a detachable hood to shield you from the elements.

Dakota Print Polo Shirt - £34.99
This stylish shirt has a moisture-wicking finish to move any wetness away from the body and is breathable to help you to regulate your body temperature. It also has a stretch element to bring comfort as well as performance to your golf swing. Tempo Golf Shoes

Stromberg Patron Junior Jacket - £34.99
This jacket has quilted body panels to keep you protected out on the golf course. Designed with performance fabric for freedom of movement, with a DWR finish to repel rainwater during showers, it also features an elasticated hem and cuffs, plus has secure hand pockets for additional accessories or hand warming. The garment has a full zip opening for easy changing and is highlighted with silicon print branding.

Stromberg Hampton Junior Trousers - £29.99
The Hampton junior trousers have been constructed with stretch fabrics to move freely during the golf swing, with an adjustable waistband to fit juniors perfectly every time. The trousers are breathable to aid performance, stain-resistant and have a DWR finish to resist moisture from penetrating the surface fabric. The design features two slant side front pockets for easy access, and two welted back pockets so storage is always close to hand.

Women & Golf first impressions of the Stromberg AW21 Women's range
Our first impressions are good. The catchy names, classic styling and great price points will ensure Stromberg’s move into women’s golf apparel will be a success. Our only minor criticism is the fact that the largest size available is UK16. To widen the appeal of the brand to more female golfers, there definitely needs to be larger sizes available in future collections. We’re sure this is something that’s already planned and we’re looking forward to seeing what will be launched in SS22.
