The Scottish brand has made our winter with its cosy knits, chic jackets and warming layers.

It’s no use denying it; we're welcoming in September and summer is well and truly on the way out.

But that’s not a bad thing at all. Autumn means gorgeous golden leaves, crisp mornings and best of all, a whole new wardrobe of cosy knits and fashionable layers.

We’re particularly excited about the Autumn Winter 2020 collection from Scottish clothing brand Glenmuir, due to launch on September 1.

Combining sustainable luxurious natural fibres with technical fabrics and contemporary designs, the brand have added some great new pieces, fresh shades and styles to their range.

Built around the three colour themes of Spring Green, Magenta and Ascot Blue, there’s something to suit all tastes.

There are so many lovely pieces to choose from (in fact it's really hard to narrow them down), but some of our favourites include...

The 2-layer Storm Bloc.® Waterproof Jacket

Brand new for Autumn Winter is the ladies g.Poppy jacket. Super lightweight and with a four-way stretch it's designed to let you move unrestricted and  stay totally warm and dry. Windproof and waterproof, it’s practical and stylish enough to wear both on and off the course.

Glenmuir Ladies Trousers

The Touch of Cashmere range

These zip-neck sweaters are so warm and soft. Stretchy, breathable and with a modern design that oozes quality and class, this collection really is the future of golfing knitwear. The g.Olivia and g.Alissa bring a fresh and bold take on golf fashion, while the subtle rib and cable detailing of the g.Nika offer a nod towards the heritage of Glenmuir and the traditions of the sport. A must-have staple for any female golfer, these sweaters are hand-knitted with care and fit like a glove.

Glenmuir Ladies Outerwear

The midlayer and padded collection

Already a big hit with golfers across the country, Glenmuir has built on its much-loved selection of midlayer and padded jackets. We love the bold Magenta version of the padded g.Sabine gilet, featuring a cute diamond pattern on the front. Meanwhile, the (RRP £80) stretch-padded hybrid jacket is just made for crisp autumn days out on the course. Stretchy on the arms and sides but with a fleece lining, it’s everything you need in a golf jacket. Again we’re obsessed with the eye-catching Magenta shade but we’d also feel great stepping out in the sophisticated navy edition.
Price: g.Sabine (£80), g.Madison (£85).

Glenmuir Ladies Shirts

Long-sleeve performance pique polo shirts

These are absoltely ESSENTIAL on cold winter days. Nobody wants to feel a chill when you’re trying to concentrate on your game so a good base layer is vital. The g.Misha long-sleeve polo has built in moisture-wicking technology delivering breathability while it also provides UV protection and helps regulate your body temperature. It’s very clever stuff.
Price: £45

Mikhel Ruia, Managing Director of Glenmuir said:

“The Autumn Winter 2020 collection continues Glenmuir’s mission to be the most loved golf apparel brand in the world. The collection represents premium quality, functional and elegant golf clothing crafted using sustainable and renewable methods. We are only just getting started and look forward to continuing our journey of innovation, design and development for the 2021 collections.”

If you can’t justify a wardrobe refresh just yet (go on, we think you can), then get these items added to your Christmas lists ASAP.

We can’t wait to see what Glenmuir has in store for 2021 either.
