Launched by Major champion, Georgia Hall, we introduce some highlights from the AW21 range from Callaway Apparel
Solheim Cup star Georgia Hall launched Callaway Apparel’s AW21 range in the week between finishing tied second in the season’s final Major and helping Europe beat the United States.
Fresh from her impressive performance in the AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie, the Callaway Apparel ambassador unveiled the new collection at Silvermere Golf Club’s pro shop before giving a coaching clinic to female golfers on the driving range.
“It’s always great to meet fellow female golfers and help them with a few pointers for their swings,” said the 2018 AIG Women’s Open champion, who is an Official Ambassador of the R&A, supporting their Women in Golf Charter to inspire more women, girls and families to play golf through their #FOREeveryone campaign.
Silvermere golfer Helen Smith said:
“It was a surreal but amazing experience to spend time with Georgia and her tips were great. I love keeping track of Georgia’s scores at tournaments and following women’s golf in general, so today was really special.”
The AW21 range from Callaway Apparel
Commenting on Callaway Apparel’s new collection, Hall said: “It’s full of different styles and excellent layering options which make sure I’m warm and dry on the course. The products are windproof too and have deep pockets, which I like.
“It’s important that even when I’m wearing lots of layers I still have full range of motion in my swing, and Callaway Apparel really nail that with Swing Tech functionality. This range is comfortable, warm and looks great, too.”
The AW21 range is based on two main colour palettes. One has essential colours such as navy, charcoal grey and black complemented by flashes of Golf Green and Cactus Flower Pink for bolder impact, with Lettuce Green a highlight in the women’s collection.
The second palette is one of contrast, moving from light to dark and offering a balanced mix of electric hues such as Blue Tattoo, True Red and Poppy Red with natural tones such as Hydrangea Blue and Geranium Pink. The colours are strong enough to work as single-colour statements or blend perfectly with black, navy or white.
The all-new Weather Series features ten new products ranging from lightweight to premium thermal garments. Linear, geometric and botanical floral patterns in two distinct colour palettes – ‘True Red / Blue Tattoo’ and ‘Cactus Flower’ – make for a stylish, retro-chic range.
