Reimagining its heritage as an original style leader on and off the course, adidas will launch Originals Golf from 3 April.
Originals Golf – and the iconic adidas trefoil logo – will return with a range of apparel, footwear and accessories for both men and women. Inspired by adidas’ history, the fresh designs have been crafted for the course through a modern lens. Select pieces from the range will also be worn by adidas athlete Ludvig Aberg at the first major of the year.
The deliberate and elevated styling found within Originals Golf focuses on the details and represents an invitation to join the culture surrounding the game, because on the course, everyone is an original.
Dylan Moore, Senior Creative Director of adidas Golf said: “The adidas Trefoil logo was first introduced in 1972 and represents the convergence of fashion and culture through sport. As we examined our roots in the game, we were inspired by the ways we pushed fashion on the course in the 70s and 80s and felt the time was right to reintroduce styles for golfers that are influenced by the fashion and culture of today.”
All in the details
Apparel in the Originals Golf range is highlighted by intricately designed pieces that focus on subtle details and cool pops of colour.
For women, the Originals Golf range is highlighted by a Printed Trefoil Polo in cool-touch, double-knit material, a Solid Polo with contrast tipping on the collar and cuff and Originals Pleated Skort with side pockets.
The women’s range also includes the Originals Cashmere Knit Sweater with subtle 3-Stripes detailing, and a sleeveless Originals Dress with 3-Stripes elastic band detailing to match the pop-colour pleat and two side-zip pockets.

We used our heritage as our muse and created Originals Golf with that same mindset, with the ultimate goal of building out a premium assortment of apparel that represents the convergence of fashion and culture that we are seeing in the game.”

Best foot forward
In footwear, adidas is introducing the following new Originals Golf models:
- COURSECUP: Inspired by the GOLD CUP golf shoe launched in 1986. COURSECUP is a unisex shoe with a genuine leather upper, wingtip detailing and a removable kiltie that finishes the classic look. The new shoe is also packed with performance-enhancing features, like a GRIPMORE spikeless outsole for versatile traction and drop-in EVA cushioning for additional comfort.
- Gazelle Golf: Available in both men’s and women’s, Gazelle Golf shoes include enhanced cushioning and a durable adiwear spikeless outsole for support and comfort. Still with the iconic Gazelle profile, the shoe also includes drop-in EVA cushioning and a waterproof suede upper for a premium finish.
- Stan Smith Golf and Samba Golf: Each featuring a rich, genuine leather upper on their unmistakable designs.
- Superstar Golf: A special white, green and yellow colorway of the Superstar Golf is also available.
Premium accessories
To round out the offering, Originals Golf will also include premium accessories so golfers can complete their look in style. As well as hats, socks and belts, the new line-up will also include an Originals Golf Leather Glove, headcovers, premium golf towel, carry golf bags and premium Originals Golf Boston Bag.

The full range of apparel, footwear and accessories for Originals Golf will be available only on adidas.com, the adidas app, and at select retailers from 3 April.
