Windsor-based PowerBug has become one of Europe’s biggest golf trolley suppliers by volume in a very short space of time. Now, that pricing has become even more impressive, with PowerBug reducing the price tag significantly on its two premium models, and also rebranding its top-of-the-range UltraV model the GT8, and its ProTour model the GT7 in the UK.
Among the host of ingenious features built in to the groundbreaking GT8 is a revolutionary UV sensor in the display handle to alert golfers to the presence of potentially harmful Ultra Violet rays. The display also provides a wealth of other information from a clock and round-timer, to a distance-measuring feature. The GT7 is crammed full of perceptive little touches too, all designed to make the whole electric trolley experience as pleasurable and stress-free as possible. It is again crafted from lightweight aircraft-grade tubular aluminium, and engineered to fold down effortlessly into an even more compact space than the GT8. The handle features a lower-profile speed control switch to help prevent accidental activation - a common source of irritation on many power trolleys - while its anti-rotation cart bag support will prevent the bag from gradually turning to a point where everything is in the wrong place – another common bugbear of electric trolley users.
The GT7 is also available in black or white, with the lithium version now been reduced in the UK by over 27% from £550 to £399, and the lead acid model by more than 33%, meaning it will now, incredibly, be available for just £199 having previously retailed at £300.
