Odyssey has announced the next chapter in the life of the iconic White Hot insert technology, with the launch of the new White Hot RX Putters.
The next evolution in White Hot feel has been combined with Odyssey’s patented Metal-X Oval Technology, creating a new dual layered insert to produce improved roll on every putt. Using a precision dual layer injection moulding process, Odyssey engineers have been able to fine-tune each layer of urethane in the insert to maximise performance and feel. A soft core delivers feel and ball speed, whilst a firm striking surface provides audible, positive feedback to the golfer.
In addition, Oval Metal-X Roll Technology on the surface of the putter face provides enhanced roll performance, where a new textured, clear coating to the face increases friction, maximising performance when the ball leaves the putter head.
To take maximum advantage of this new, groundbreaking White Hot face, Odyssey has fine-tuned the design of some of its most successful head shapes ever and also added two new models – an exciting mallet coupling the look of the #7 and V-Line putters, as well as two new blades, #1 and #2, derived from Tour feedback. The full putter line-up reads #1, #2, #7, #9, Rossie, V-Line Fang and 2-Ball V-Line. Ladies models are available in #1, V-Line Fang and 2-Ball V-Line.
