Could it be that a new tee rather than an updated driver is the key to shaving shots off your score? It would certainly save a few pennies.
That's the claim of Swedish company, Golf Joy Tee. who believe their new R&A approved tee could add yards to your drive.
Sitting at an angle of 10.5 ◦, the ball's position on the angled tee allows the club head to hit the ball at an optimum hitting area that gives longer flight time.
In comparison tests, carried out by golf pros between the traditional tees and the Golf Joy Tee, it turned out that the tee considerably extended the driver length.
Tests also suggested that the angle of the tee could improve trajectory, launch angle, and decreases back spin for greater distance.
