Lynx have been pioneering new golf club designs, with some pretty radical and innovative concepts appearing in recent years. Here we put the the Tigress hybrid to the test. The Lynx Hybrid features an industry-first, the use of a Rose Gold PVD finish, that not only looks unique but is designed to resist scratching and give you a newer-looking club even after long-term use.
Women & Golf say, ''I have to take my hat off to Lynx for investing so heavily in innovation as a golf brand and for being brave enough to take a risk with their club designs. I love the look of this hybrid, it has a very classy finish, is elegant in design and looks expensive. Lynx clubs are used by Laura Davies, a very discerning golfer, who would only choose a club made from top quality components that really performed to go into her golf bag.
As a player who carries three hybrids in my bag, I was a little disappointed to discover that Lynx only offer the Tigress in one loft option, a 4-iron replacement. The power of the Tigress matched others on test, however, my recovery shots from the rough were a bit hit and miss, perhaps because the club doesn’t have a big footprint so was prone to twisting and instability on occasions.''
