The first thing you’ll notice is how proud the King F9 sits to the turf. The double sole rails under really raise it up, making it grip the ground at address, helping you position the wood squarely to the target. And when it comes to gliding through the rough it’s unbeatable. I struggled a bit on sunny days with the reflection of light from the shiny black clubhead. The centre circle of grooves are helpful for alignment as they gave me a large focal point for striking. The King F9 is highly customisable (MyFly8) and easy to adjust, and the sound is fiery, fast and fantastic.
