Lynx Tigress

Featuring new technology allowing adjustability, Lynx’s new Tigress driver is not only striking to the eye but promises powerful, solid drives. Here's what Carly Frost thought as she put it to the test.

THEY SAY

The Tigress is our first-ever adjustable driver for ladies, with a loft range of 12-16 degrees. Forged from Titanium, it delivers powerful, solid feeling drives. It features our Progressive Face Thickness (PFT) technology that’s designed to ensure that even your off-centre strikes fly well. The Tigress has a distinctive purple satin PVD finish.

I SAY

The first thing that struck me is the vivid purple finish to the Tigress that gives it the stand-out factor. The clubhead shape is very rounded and it makes a really loud impact sound, like a firecracker. For the money it doesn’t do a bad job of keeping up with some of the big-name brands. I hit the ball a decent distance. Although with an adjustable loft range bordering on 3-wood territory, this is definitely a club designed for the slow-swinging beginner/game improver looking for a club that’s really easy to use.
