Reader Review: Mizuno CLK Hybrid

Women & Golf Reader Kelly Foster from Devon shares her opinion on Mizuno’s CLK Hybrid. With a sleek exterior, the shape of the club's sole creates the feel of an iron, but how did it perform?

When I first took this club out of the box, I was totally wowed by its looks, feel and balance. It is without a doubt the sleekest club I have used. The head seems slightly smaller, more rounded and heavier. I tested the #4, but it’s also available as a #2, 3, or 5, and each is easily adjustable by +/ - 2 degrees, making it very flexible. It performed beautifully from the tee and rough alike, giving a longer and slightly higher ball flight. From the fairway, I gained about 15 yards when I hit the sweet spot, but I didn’t find it quite as forgiving as my current hybrid. I’m sure lower handicappers would have hit the sweet spot more consistently and when you do- it’s amazing.
