Cobra has deviated from their normal bright coloured clubs to produce a very attractive black and turquoise fairway wood. This 3-4 wood has an adjustable loft of 17-20° and it’s also available as a 5-6 and 7-9-wood. The clubhead is slightly heavier than equivalent ladies’ fairway woods, which I personally prefer. The interchangeable weight is positioned low and back for forgiveness and this also produces a high ball flight. For a 3-wood with a loft of 18.5°, I found it more forgiving than previous 3-woods from the light rough and it’s excellent off the tee. This club also has the ingenious Cobra Connect in the grip, so with the help of a smartphone you can track your shots on the course. Definitely a club I would keep in my bag.
