Jane Townsend from Cambridgeshire shares her thoughts on Callaway’s Golfit Sports Band - a stylish and lightweight fitness watch that doubles up as a GPS.

Having never used a GPS or fitness band before, the Quick Start instructions completely confused me! But after visiting Callaway’s DMD website, I soon got the device working. The band is lightweight, stylish and easy to read. On arrival at the club and selecting the golf mode - I was impressed that it instantly displayed a list of all the local courses and it was simple to select my course. The distance measurements were accurate, and it moved seamlessly from hole to hole. However, I did find the buttons quite tricky to press and the operating system could be a little user-friendlier. On the plus side, I was very happy to learn that I burned 778 calories during my round, but I’m sure the sandwich and chips afterwards cancelled that out!
