Ditch your hard-to-hit long irons in favour of a hybrid or two and you’ll never look back, says Carly Frost who puts the PING G Le hybrid to the test.

I’ve fallen in love with the G Le range, both for their wonderful stylish looks (a super choice of dark and light blue colouring) and great performance. The long, shallow clubhead shape of the hybrid with its bigger nose, flat sole and generous face makes it look really easy to hit. It glides effortlessly through every lie, flights the ball very well, sounds great and feels solid. No adjustments to make, no thrills, just reliable performance.
