They Say:
Callaway stands alone for possessing unique steel-working talents that have allowed us to create a long history of sophisticated iron designs. Our newest addition, the XR, combines the shaping and playability that made our all-time best-seller, the X-14 popular, with the speed and distance from our modern technologies including our 360 Face Cup that allows the edges of the face to freely flex and release at impact with greater efficiency adding ball speed and distance.
We Say:
If you are looking for an easy-to-hit iron that’s as long as it is forgiving then you really can’t go wrong with a set of Callaways. The XR have huge, impossible to miss clubheads, complemented by a top-quality shaft that ensures the swing weight is just spot on to maximise speed and length. The tacky soft grip is great to hold. My only criticism is that the styling isn’t overtly feminine.
