Women & Golf reader Helen Bradshaw, a 13-handicapper from Lincoln, put the Callaway Big Bertha Fusion 3-wood to the test. We found out what she had to say.
First impressions of this club were very pleasing as the grip was soft and felt very secure in my hands. The black clubhead suited my eye as I prefer to see a dark colour and the club itself was very light to hold. On the fairway I was able to launch the ball straight and fairly high without any problems and the flexibility of the graphite shaft also allowed me to achieve around the same distance as my current 3-wood. From the rough, I was able to make good contact with the ball and also managed to achieve some reasonable distances. This club looks and feels good and I would certainly recommend anyone seeking a quality fairway wood to try this out first.
