ping-g-le-fairway-wood-golf-equipment-review

Are you looking for some advice before making a golf equipment purchase? Susan Walmsley, a 16-handicap from County Conwy, put the Ping G Le fairway wood to the test.

''A 3-wood is rarely my club of choice off the fairway, so with some misgivings I attempted to hit the Ping G Le. The club felt well-balanced and easy to swing. Amazingly, the ball lifted smoothly off the fairway and travelled in a straight line towards the green. The ball flight proved consistently straight, not excessively high, giving me confidence to use the club on narrow tree-lined fairways.

Even in wet winter conditions, my ball travelled considerably further than usual. Results off the tee and performance out of light rough were equally satisfactory. In appearance, the club’s matt navy head has a subtle sophistication, complemented by a white and navy shaft with touches of mint and comfortable matching grip. I really enjoyed using this impressive club.''
